Ask Me Anything! (until September 7)

Hi, everyone. I just want to say that I appreciate all of the loyal reading and the many comments you all leave on here. I’m sorry that I can’t answer every single comment. I just get really busy nowadays, so please don’t take it personally!

So, to have an excuse to talk to you all further and make more of a connection, I’m going to do my own little Ask Me Anything session right here, via this post. I usually moderate the comments, thanks to some obnoxious spammers that I got in the past. But, I will be lifting comment moderation until September 7, which is when the Ask Me Anything session will end.

I'll be answering these questions through the next few days, as I go and as you ask them. I initially was going to wait until it was over and then answer them but I changed my mind because that sounds like it'd be too much. How many I can answer will depend on the turnout. So, again, if I can’t answer yours, it doesn’t mean anything except my brain was too overwhelmed and busy to answer it, which is the story of my life lately.

***This went really well and thanks to everyone who brought their questions. Also, as a side note, I'm flattered by all of the really nice comments about the blog and everything. I couldn't say "thank you" to every single person because that gets a little overwhelming and repetitive after a while. But, I just want you to know that I appreciate all the kind words from everyone and I appreciate the growing readership.

The session is now closed. Please don't ask any more questions here. But, of course, feel free to ask more on any other page on the blog. Thanks. :)

  1. Hi I love reading your post ! I'm hooked lol

I'm a Leo sun , Pisces moon, Taurus ascendant .
My Pisces moon is conjunct Saturn In Pisces 1.40 orb . Does this aspect give me ambition ?

    1. Hi, thanks! And yes, it definitely does. I find Moon conjunct Saturn in Pisces to be a really fascinating combination. Pisces Moons are already old souls, but this definitely makes you one! It gives you a solid kind of strength, as well as all that sensitivity. However, your ambition isn't exactly going to be totally "worldly". You've got a duty to be empathetic and egoless with Saturn in Pisces and you need to revolve your ambitions around that.

  2. Ok last question I promise ! Lol

I have Pluto in the 7th house and my 7th house is also ruled by Scorpio (Pluto in Scorpio) how does this effect me personality wise when I meet a potential mate or even within my friendship ? Is there magnetism with this placement ?

    1. Yes, hugely magnetic attractions with partners and friends! You're highly intense whenever you personally bond with someone, even if you might seem more easygoing and casual whenever someone first gets to know you.

  3. You are seriously my favourite astrologer ! You're just so damn smart and witty and relevant ! Ha ha Im not the only one here that shares the enthusiasm . I was wondering a bit recently about my tight conjunction of Mars , Pluto and Saturn in libra 9 th house . How can I use the intense energy without suffering from depression / repressed anger etc .. I've had a lot of issues in the past with the repressed rage being externalized as dominant people in my life that perpetuate my feelings of feeling dominated , powerless and victimized . I'm over this lesson as I know full well that the energy is in me just being projected . How can I use the conjunction with the placement to make it work for me rather than against ?

    1. I think your whole Pluto in Libra generation is interesting because when those Libra planets are conjunct Pluto, it's like killing people with kindness. Haha, there's so much charm and grace, on the surface, but this huge intensity underneath. Those themes of being dominated are going to be very common with Libra folks of this generation with the conjunction because relationships are such a source of power for you guys. But, whenever you see the approval or the validation of someone else as empowerment, you're in trouble. And that prevents you from expressing your rage or strength in healthy ways cause it might be disapproved of. And you might seek to dominate or get the upper hand in indirect ways.

Mars conjunct Saturn and Pluto makes you a powerhouse, though. When you stop letting other people be the source of your power, this stellium will work to your benefit, making you really hardworking and passionate. Plus, it's in the 9th, so it drives you to be adventurous and enlighten yourself! :)

  4. yo your interpretations are fuckin spot on dude. I just wish you interpreted moon Uranus aspects because nothing on the internet really "hits it" for me about that aspect like your interpretation of other aspects and house positions do for me. I have Moon Trine Uranus with an orb of -2 degrees. I would honestly love to see that interpretation got damn! lmao

    1. Thanks! I've been thinking about doing a Moon-Uranus article for awhile. It'll most likely be sometime this month. I think it's a very cool placement but it has to be insane (which I mean in the best way). I have Uranus trine Mercury and Mars and that already brings a lot of chaos. But, with Uranus trine your Moon, that's making your feelings really chaotic and crazy! You must feel like there's a circus or something going on inside of you all the time, haha.

  5. Dear Wayman,

I absolutely love reading your blog, each of your posts I find to be extremely accurate and complete, they show a deep knowledge and a sense of serious research.
Now, my question: I'm an Aries sun, Pisces moon and sag rising. Saturn is currently transiting on my asc, Pluto is sending a trine to my moon (and soon to my Venus too, I hope), and Uranus is conjunct my sun right now.
I'm going through a lot of very radical changes: I'm moving to Paris from Italy right now, kind of putting myself into a huge adventure which scares me to death but also excites me. I'll attend myast year of university in France, leaving my home and family for the first time.
How do you read these transits concerning this big new chapter of my life? Any suggestion to live the transits up to their full potential? Even the bad ones....
Thank you so much for your insight.
Ps: something else; from your experience, do you find composite charts to be more revealing than sinastrys about relationship? Or the opposite?

    Have a great day!

    1. Well, it makes total sense that you're having these major changes with college and travel and foreign countries with Saturn in Sag crossing your Sag Ascendant. You're going to have to get serious about these things, which you've probably always loved but maybe in a more frivolous or carefree way. But, this Saturn transit will be pushing you to find the purpose in these interests and how they can really lead to your success. Be willing to challenge yourself and don't try to control everything either!

Also, I rarely get composite chart requests. I like synastry more because it treats both people like individuals, each bringing something to the table. Composite is really interesting but treats the two people like they're one person, which isn't always the healthiest way to look at a relationship, imo.

  7. Hi, why does having pluto retrograde in sagittarius in the 1st house opposite venus so challenging. Everyones seems to intensely wish me harm, its like they can only see pluto and nothing else of my chart. My libra moon is very confused at other peoples reactions, I try to rationalize things but they are never logical. Am I being paranoid?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, a 1st House Pluto opposite Venus (in the 7th, I'm assuming) can do that. But, when you're comfortable, others feel more comfortable. When you're nervous and suspicious, others get nervous and suspicious. We all reap what we sow, energy-wise. We get what we give. And that's a big lesson for Pluto people because it's such a powerful energy. The less you worry about people's reactions and trying to control them, the more positive they'll be toward you.

      Delete
    2. Thank you for your reply. If you don't mind me asking with a taurus descendant and venus in the seventh will my potential mates be more scorpionic/ plutonian as I have read of the pluto venus aspect or will be they Venusian?

      Delete
    3. I definitely think they'd be a mix of both. Because both the Descendant and your planets in the 7th determine the people you draw to you. Venus opposing Pluto makes you even more attracted to the Pluto types but Venus in the 7th draws the more harmonious energy in, as well. So, you might be into Libra people with Scorpio planets or vice versa. Maybe your ideal partner could have Venus rising in Scorpio. Anything can go, really, but there's probably always some sort of pattern there.

  8. Hello! I really enjoy reading your blog. I found your recent post on Michael Fassbender really interesting. I was wondering if you will continue ro do more of those in the future, and maybe, specifically, do one on Tom Hiddleston? Although his birth time is not known, what would you guess his rising sign to be - just a quick guess for now?

    1. I'd say Pisces rising. He has that elfish sort of look and his appearance is so changeable.

    3. I know! I have quite a few people on my list who I can do nothing but guess with. There should just be a way for every celebrity's correct birth time to be known. Haha, we already know other random stuff about them. Why not that? Maybe that'll happen, in the future, when more journalists get into astrology. :)

  9. Hi, I just found your blog recently and I have to say I really enjoy it. You're very talented as a writer and astrologer. Thanks for it.

So, my q: I'm a Taurus sun but Scorpio rising, and astrologers mostly advise me to read for both, in terms of horoscopes or transits. But how can that be accurate? The houses mean very specific things, and it seems like transiting planets would be giving me one kind of experience or another. What do you think?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, your transits totally depend on your Rising sign because that's how the planets are going to affect your houses. You look at the whole chart for transits. Just basing it on Sun signs seems sort of pointless, in my opinion. I actually don't like horoscopes or transit predictions just based on Sun signs. They're not nearly as accurate as whole transit readings.

      And you're welcome! :)

  10. Hey! I don't know how you call it, but how do you interpret it when planets at the end of a house are already in the next sign. How do I combine the different meanings?
    For example, I got:
Mars in Gemini in my 9th house, with the 9th house in Taurus
and, on the opposite of my chart,
Neptune in Sagittarius in my 3rd house, with the 3rd house in Scorpio

    Thank you!

    1. Hey, yeah, everyone has at least a couple of houses like that. Very few people's charts line up that perfectly.

I wouldn't overthink it, to be honest. Your Gemini Mars in the 9th means one thing and 9th House in Taurus means something else. But, they're both affecting the same life area. That's the great thing about astrology, I think. It leaves room open for contradictions like that. So, basically, a part of you is very cautious and level-headed about the beliefs you take on and the journeys you go on. And another part of you is restless and easily influenced and curious about these same concerns. So, you're just going to be switching back and forth between the two approaches.

  11. Hi, I have 3 planets in my 7th house. Uranus, the Sun and Neptune, is this stellium? Because I've read that some people say 3 is one, and others say 4. If it isn't a stellium is it still an important house for me? The planets are Uranus in Capricorn, the Sun in Aquarius and Neptune in Capricorn. The house is also in Capricorn if any of that matters?

I love your blog too by the way, I really enjoy your writing.
    Thank you in advance!

    1. I definitely think three planets in the same house make a stellium. Having four planets in one house is pretty rare. And yeah, a stellium will be a big focus for you. So, your life is pretty dominated by 7th House issues of relating to others and everything. I'd pay more attention to the planets in the house than the sign, imo, when you're looking at a stellium. The sign's important but all those planets sort of take over.

      Thanks for reading the blog!

  12. What would you say as advice for a 4 planets (sun, venus, mars and mercury) in the 8th houseopposed to Pluto (except mercury) person? Sun aries rising and moon in virgo. PS: I really admire your work. You are amazing!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thank you! It's an interesting combo because Pluto is, I'm assuming, in the 2nd and is actually more grounded than the 8th House planets. So, you might sometimes feel like your greater power lies more so in making money and getting ahead in the material world than being more spiritual and emotional. But, other times, you may get really wrapped up in that deep 8th House stuff and forget about the essentials and about staying grounded, which can compromise your overall power. So, the challenge is finding a middle ground between the two.

A super-short version of it (minus the houses) is that you're a purposeful person who thinks in the long term and has really intense, passionate feelings. You carry yourself in a humble, organized, practical way yet you also really value and are motivated by fantasies and ideals and compassion.

  15. So in my previous post I mentioned my Pluto being in my 7th house (Pluto in Scorpio) and I asked does this placement create some sort of magnetism ? Will their attraction be to me ( friends, lovers, partnership....etc) or am I gonna be attracted to them as far as the magnetic effect?

  17. Wayman - how did you get into astrology? And how did you go about studying it? I'm just curious. :)

    1. I first had my birth chart done when I was almost 19, so a good seven years ago. I'd always totally identified with Leo traits (my South Node also being in Leo conjunct my Sun does that), so I never doubted it or anything. I just never knew about birth charts until I stumbled on to Cafe Astrology that day and saw all the different placements - Sun, Moon, Mars, etc. - and wondered what the difference was. Then, I saw you could get your birth chart and I luckily knew my exact birth time, since I owned my birth certificate, and it just went from there.

Even though being a Leo always made sense, I was pleasantly surprised at seeing my Scorpio Moon and my Virgo planets and how they explained the other sides of me so well. And that's just how it all started.

And I've studied it basically through obsessive Google searches, talking to people on message boards about it, reading lots of books, and looking up people's charts and then observing how they express their placements. It's all been self-taught. I've never had a class or a teacher or anything.

  18. Hey! Absolutely love your blog. My question is what does having saturn conjunct the descendant and saturn ruling my fifth house (Virgo Rising) say about what I look for and how I am in romantic partnerships?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thanks. Oh, well, you're going to be the real deal when it comes to relationships. Saturn ruling your 5th and conjunct the Descendant means you're not going to be into flings or casual relationships or random hook-ups. The 5th House does represent how you more so casually date and flirt and all of that. People with their 5th House in Capricorn usually don't superficially date around very well, if at all. It's pretty serious from the get-go with you. And since Saturn's also conjunct the Descendant (is it in the 7th, as well?), you want to end up with someone who's serious and in it for the long haul.

Saturn's in Pisces, right? So, Saturn descending in Pisces means you're committed to finding this profound, soul-level connection with others. And since it rules the 5th House, all that casual dating might be really alienating and confusing to you. Having the 7th House in Pisces means that you do relate to people by going with the flow and accepting them as they are. Yet, you're probably still busy planning your future together in your head with them and that makes you fantasize more so about the person than accept how things are going in reality, even though you can be very practical about relationships, as well.

So, yeah, interesting influence! Basically, finding "the one" that you dream about so much is a serious goal for you but don't worry about it too much! You're still really young. :)

  20. Hey dude!

I love your blog! You made this astrology thing so easy to understand that even I can get it. I am curious about this astrology stuff but it's very confusing.

I love the article you made about the venus-pluto thing. It is just right on and details are just so right that it fits me. And I want to ask you more about this.

see my venus sextiles with pluto. my venus is in the 11th house under the sign of leo while my pluto is in the 1st house under scorpio. my rising sign by the way is libra. since libra's planet is venus and my pluto is in the first house does this make my venus-pluto effect more potent? does this make me magnetic in a charming way? or does this make me magnetic in a mysterious way in a sexy yet scary kind of way?

also my moon in virgo conjucts with venus and is also on the 11th house. it also sextiles pluto. does this boost my venus-pluto dynamic? or does this mellow out the effect?

I would love to hear what you think.

More power to you dude and thanks!

    1. Thank you! Yeah, Venus-Pluto people are usually super-attractive but there can be something kind of 'dangerous' about that magnetism, at the same time. It's usually to people who don't know how to handle a lot of intensity. It sort of scares them but, at the same time, that fear can be what makes you sexy. I'd tell you what I tell other Pluto people, including myself: don't worry about it too much. A lot of it is just projection and doesn't make you some big, scary person. With Venus ruling your chart and sextile Pluto, I'm sure you have most people eating out of the palm of your hand! :)

And yeah, the Moon sextile Pluto just supports that Venus-Pluto energy. The more Pluto aspects or placements someone has, the more they're able to identify with that energy and feel comfortable with it, instead of feeling like there's a crazy beast inside of them.

  21. Hi,

First of all your blog is amazing. It is very detailed and absolutely spot on. You really know your astrology I mean the details and the examples your giving are just WOW!

I like your article about plutonians. I think I am a plutonian though I'm cancer. My pluto is in my first house that happens to be scorpio and so is my rising sign. And I have a lot of planetary aspects with my pluto. My moon trines with my pluto and so is venus. my mercury squares with my pluto and my neptune trines with my pluto. Does this aspect make it possible or in a way enhances psychic abilities? or would make it easier for you to develop your psychic abilities?

My other fascination has something to do with the psychic stuff. So I was wondering if the placement of the planet on my birth chart be something that could like help me with psychic development.

    Thanks in advance!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh, you're definitely Plutonian with all of those influences! And I think all of the water energies are psychic. Pluto (Scorpio) is, as is the Moon (Cancer) and Neptune (Pisces). But, they're all psychic in different ways. Pluto is like perceptive-psychic, the Moon is responsive-psychic, and Neptune is otherworldly-psychic. So, a big influence in any of those energies gives you big-time intuition, in those different ways. Developing that has a lot to do with listening, I think, and just trusting that intuitive inner voice, which can be a tough thing to do in a really noisy and rational world. But, the more you practice and hone it, the more you trust it.

  22. I saw that you're a Uranus/Mercury individual too. Lately I got into thinking and this is solely based on my limited observation. Okay I've been thinking about this for three years now. Is a difficult aspect between Mercury and Jupiter, somewhat an indicator of a speech problem? And if this aspect is aggravated by an afflicted Uranus, then most likely the individual is prone to autism, how likely is it?

Please keep doing what you do. Your take on astrology is refreshing and spot on.

    1. It's hard to diagnose learning disabilities or speech problems through astrology, in my opinion, because that affects so many people, with so many aspects. I do think squares or oppositions to Mercury just bring issues with thinking or speaking in ways where you feel understood by others, which sometimes might feel like a "disability." School can often be tough for people with an afflicted Mercury, too, for that reason. They usually don't feel very smart because of these experiences, even though it's often just an issue of having brains that are wired differently, especially with Uranus in the mix.

  23. I am a pisces sun square neptune and gemini ascendant. Could you describe my intercepted aries moon, mars and venus in the 10th house? (Saturn and pluto are opposing venus in the 5h. Jupiter and uranus trine moon and mars in the 6h)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Intercepted planets are tricky. I don't think they disappear or anything. I just think that, on some level, the person doesn't completely identify with certain traits of that sign. With your Moon, Venus, and Mars intercepted in Aries, you might not think you're that competitive or aggressive or selfish when you're out in the world or doing career stuff. But, others might be able to point out these traits and recognize them better than you can. So, I think there can be a disconnect with interceptions, in this way, by making you act out the traits unconsciously yet believe that you're not that person.

  24. Hi Wayman,

Such a generous and kind offer from you to do this answering sessions!
Also so great to see how many people are loving astrology and doing their soul searching with your help. Amazing!

I have a question which is bugging me for a long time. I have asked this question to few other astrologers and their answer just makes no sense to me at all.

Here it goes: My Venus in Cancer is 1degree. My Uranus is in Libra 29 degree. So accordingly it makes a trine. This two planets are making plenty of other aspects which according to some astrologer are not valid. How can it be not valid??!!! If it makes 60 degree it is an aspect or 90 degree or 180 degree? One astrologer said Cancer and Libra can not make a trine. To me this kind of answer is like to be in complete denial of geometry, mathematics and common sense.
So, i still wander in thet area. My Venus in 1degree and Uranus in 29 degree and South and North Nodes are in 0(zero) degree are making plenty of aspectes which are supposed not to exist or not valid,- in my own chart and in synastry as well. Especialy it is quite complicated in the case with my partner, which also has planets of this kind of what they call, if i am not mistaken, - critical degree.

Will you consider please to shine some more light on this topic?

A lot of appreciation and grattitude to you for yor work!

    1. Hi, Balta! So, yeah, your Uranus is definitely trine your Venus. It's an out-of-sign trine, which might be throwing some people off, I guess. But, it really shouldn't because that kind of aspect would come up on Cafe Astrology, for sure, or most other birth chart calculators. Uranus in Libra is only two degrees away from being Uranus at 1 degree Scorpio, which would form an exact trine. And yeah, those critical degrees usually form out-of-sign aspects; sometimes even a planet at 26 or 27 degrees.

Some astrologers think in total black-and-white. That's why it's good to judge what they say for yourself and know what to take with a grain of salt.

    1. Hey, Mateus. I think astrology is definitely for self-improvement. That's why I think it's silly when certain people see astrology as being so out-there or unrealistic. I see it in a super-practical, useful way. I'd say a good 90 percent of my growth and development as a person in the past several years has come from astrology and awareness of the negative parts of my placements, as well as the amazing potential of those same placements.

So, my readings are really to show clients where and how they can improve. If it makes a light bulb turn on for them - as far as bad habits or fears or, positively, their greatest dreams or hopes - and inspires them to make a change or be more self-aware, then I think I did a good job. :)

  26. Hi Wayman! Thanks for doing this. I have a question about the Sun's ruler. I know the sun is related to one's basic vitality or 'life energy'. How does the sun's ruler (and said ruler's placement/aspects) affect the expression of one's sun? Does it drive it, colour it, blend with it, or something else? I'm fuzzy on rulerships to begin with and have only recently started to consider how my Uranus in Sco/8th affects my Sun in Aq/11th. Certainly I do feel weirdly 'energised' when I read about 8th house topics such as astrology. I've also spent a lot of my life feeling like I can't access my 'solar batteries', so to speak. I'd like to hear your take on the relationship between the Sun and its ruler. Thanks again :)

    1. Hey, Vicky. I actually don't pay much attention to dispositors. I like to streamline astrology and keep it fairly simple. It's complicated enough, haha! So, just pay attention to the placement and don't tie yourself up in knots!

The only time I think about ruling planets is with the houses. And I think you can't access that solar energy because you're like a double Aquarius Sun, basically, and that can limit your ability to shine in an egoistic way.

  27. With my Pisces moon being tightly conjunct Saturn 1.40 orb (Saturn in Pisces) I still have this enormous urge to achieve achieve achieve . I'm a workaholic and once I set out to do something it must be achieved ! You mentioned earlier that It's my duty to be totatally empathetic and egoless ?...I'm pretty no nonsense , I have a hard time expressing my emotions and I'm very serious and give off dark vibes even with me being Leo sun ! A lot around people tell me that I'm intimidating which is shocking to me because I'm jus being my normal quiet self . Lol I know you said I should base my ambitiousness around being emphathetic and egoless but why do I still have this enormous drive to achieve and comeup in the material world?

    1. You have a lot of the Capricorn Moon traits since Moon conjunct Saturn is very similar to the Moon in Capricorn. So it's no surprise that you're so driven and ambitious snd serious. But, your Pisces Moon is such a sensitive sponge. So, step back and question how much of this drive is something you've absorbed from the world and adapted to in order to get by.

I tjink you're definitely meant to be purposeful and responsible. But, as a Pisces Moon, re-evaluate what these goals are. In the end, your greatest achievements won't be material. So, you may remain deeply unhappy even when you achieve practical goals until you realize this.

  28. Hi Wayman,

I just have a quick question: how influential do you think minor aspects (semi-sextile, semi-square, inconjunct, quintiles, etc.) are? I have Venus inconjunct Pluto and some descriptions (like your Venus-Pluto article) sounds like they apply to me but I'm just not sure how strong the influence is. Also, with the minor aspects I would have 3 Yods in my chart but without them, I wouldn't. So, I'd just like to hear your thoughts.

    Thank you. :)

    1. If I would consider any minor aspect, it'd be the inconjunct at a tight orb. But, that's it. All those minor aspects get to be too much. They make my head hurt, haha. I love and focus solely on the major aspects because they all symbolize a very clear relationship between the planets. Like a square is tension, conjunction is fusion, opposition is imbalance.

But, the minor ones are too vague for me. People can never explain them. All they can say is "a quintile represents creativity". What? My Virgo planets need a better explanation than that. :)

I'm going to do an article soon about this, too, now that you bring it up.

    1. What do you think about someone having a Stellium in Leo, inside of the ninth house?

      Delete
    2. I think (and you think) the world is yours for the taking with Leo planets in the 9th. You make it your playground. This is a blend of an adventurous, free spirit with lots of confidence and creativity. You're the type of person who can make a great impression wherever you go and make anything feel fun and exciting. But, the downside is you might be highly self-righteous and spend too much time preaching to people. You believe your opinion is super-important but remember that it's not the only opinion!

  30. Do you have any insights on Saturn in 7th/Aquarius square Pluto in 4th/Scorpio (my sun is conjunct pluto and also squares saturn as well). I feel as if i am alienated no matter how tactful and socially graceful I try to be!

    1. Hey, Michael. People with Saturn in the 7th can easily feel socially awkward and uncomfortable. Saturn is where things will always be sort of a challenge for us but that's what can make us so strong in this area. So, keep working hard on being tactful and socially graceful. That's your purpose with a 7th House Saturn. And maybe you just feel that way but fool others really well because you're becoming a master at dealing with people. I think, sometimes, we just have to fake it til we make it with our Saturn. Keep pushing yourself to be convincingly and effectively social and you'll be surprised at how well you can pull it off because, in the end, 7th House Saturn people are meant to gain the wisdom to influence people and have successful relationships.

It's interesting that it's in Aquarius, too, because that can increase the feeling of alienation but it's also what can make you that much better at dealing with people because Aquarius is everyone's friend and is interested in everyone. Sun conjunct Pluto in Scorpio is going to more so affect your really intimate relationships, since it's in the 4th. But, you have such high expectations of yourself, in a general one-on-one sense (7th House), that it might bring some tension to your more private life, sometimes. It's a super-perceptive combo, by the way, and that can also increase that feeling of alienation, since it squares your Saturn. You just know and see too much sometimes.

  31. Could you help me interpret my natal aspect - This is a double conjunction-square.
Moon (7Pis) conjunct Jup (11 Pis) This conjunction squares Mars (7Sag) conjunct Neptune (10 Sag)
Further Neptune is right on the North Node at 10 Sag.
How do I interpret this complex pattern. Thanks !

    1. Hi, Mars and Neptune are both on your North Node, from the looks of it. So, you are learning how to be driven and imaginative in ways that support a bigger vision for the future and help you find meaning and truth. That's an awesome combination, then!

Moon conjunct Jupiter in Pisces is just as lovely. You've got these massive emotions which only makes you more sensitive, more intuitive, and more faithful in the process of surrendering to the Divine Plan. You're incredibly expressive about your feelings but they will also run so, so deep and that makes you a real mystery, too. You might feel downright crazy, sometimes, because of the emotional excess the Pisces Moon's conjunction to Jupiter gives you but you should also really work with that creatively.

Moon square Mars gives you more of an aggressive side than the average Pisces Moon. There are times where you just try to be sweet and selfless but that temper flares up when you feel like you're not getting what's rightfully yours. It may be kind of a victim complex, so watch out for that. But, it makes you really strong. Moon square Neptune enhances both the good and the bad about your Pisces Moon, basically. Your inner self is on another planet!

Mars square Jupiter gives you a need to gamble and take risks that can be extreme, sometimes. You'll be a very lucky, resilient, daring person, though, once you know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em, so to speak. And Jupiter square Neptune makes you feel a conflict between manifesting luck for yourself and giving to the world with no expectation. Jupiter's in Pisces, though, so it makes this conflict less difficult. It's just important to know when to seek to receive good things and when to serve other people without wanting anything back from them.

  32. Hi,

You have an awsome blog! Its amazing how you are able to write the details of an aspect that are just spot on! It must be a result of your planets placement I guess. But I am so thankful for it because I have been looking for astrology websites that describes placements/ aspects like he knows them by heart and explains it in a way that everyone can relate.

Like I have mentioned I have been visiting astrology websites because I am trying to understand what are the meaning of other symbols and such. Unfortunately they were not that easy to understand.

I want to know what is the North Node and South Node about? And what does Chiron do or more to the point how does this affect one's natal chart.

I noted that the rising sign is very important and like it's a major factor and so is the midheaven. But what about the Descendant and the IC how do they play in to the whole natal chart. I have noticed that most astrology website does not give them much focus. Are they not a big factor?

And there is this Chiron what is its role in with an individual's natal chart?

I do hope you would write an article about this things. I find your written articles much easier to read and understand so I will be waiting for you to write them. No pressure. hahaha

Anyway good luck and please keep it up.

Oh and by the way, I hope you would also write about a moon-venus aspects. Cant wait to read your new articles.

    1. Thanks, Charles!

Chiron is an interesting placement that I've just started delving into. I'd love to do an article about it. Basically, it's where we feel like a victim and where we have a wound that needs addressing but also where we victimize ourselves. I talked a little bit about my Chiron in my article on the 6th House, which I posted last month. It's in the 6th and conjunct my Descendant, meaning my wound surrounds feeling like I always have to fix people and that I can work through anything in a relationship, which has only led to really unhealthy attractions in the past. I've felt like a victim by working too hard for happiness with others. So, I'm healing myself by first fixing myself and only committing to people who actually want to help and improve themselves.

I'm planning on writing an e-book about the North and South Nodes because I love them so much! I think they're so important to your chart. They're both keys to your soul, like the Moon but in a way that's more about your past and your destiny. The South Node represents your past life and the issues you never resolved. And they then affect your past in this life in a deep way. Some people don't believe in past lives, so I also just say that's it's your past in this present life, which it also is. And the North Node is the future you need to head toward. It's about your spiritual purpose, meaning that you have to see it as a soulful calling. And you have to stretch yourself beyond the comfort zone of your South Node to express it.

And, eventually, these two points form a balance, feeding each other well. You should never get rid of your South Node totally. Just its bad habits. Because it gives you really effortless talents that you need to use as a base of comfort in order to actualize your North Node.

So, I might write a brief article on that before I do the e-book. The Descendant, as well, and I wrote an article on the Nadir in June of this year that you should look up. Just know that I'm thinking of all these requests that you're throwing out! :)

  33. Are aspects formed in Heliocentric chart significant as well ?
In my Geocentric chart, I have Mars square Jupiter (orb 4) while in the Heliocentric chart I have Mars trine Jupiter (orb 0)
Different aspects formed by the same set of planets in Geocentric & Heliocentric...are they signifcant ?

  34. I've been reading as much as I can on intercepted signs/planets. I liked your answer above on the intercepted moon for another reader. this is my question, what would you make of a Yod formation that points to BML, intercepted in 8th house, Virgo conj Pluto that connects to Mercury in Aries, 3rd and North Node, first house Aquarius? NN is conj Venus which is at 28º Aqu but in 2nd house. <----the Yod is the thing I'm trying to figure out the most.

Pluto is heading toward my ASC this year, right now it's going back and forth over my mars in 12th and in the meantime, squaring my natal sun, moon and chiron. As you can imagine, I am an astrological mess. I think if I can figure out the Yod formation, I can make sense of the rest of my spirograph of a chart! :D

    1. I actually have no idea what BML is. Haha sorry I don't work with any of the asteroids but Chiron and Fortune. Yods stump me as well. But, I aim to answer the rest in your transit reading! :)

  35. One more question (if you have time) How are we supposed to understand retrograde planets in the natal chart? I have FOUR Rx planets. Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Jupiter (Jup, SR, not actually Rx) I only just noticed this recently and the things I can find online seem to be ALL OVER THE PLACE. some of the stuff I've read seems intuitively right but nothing just spot on. Your interpretations really resonate with me so I thought I'd love to hear your thoughts on Rx planets in general.

    1. Retrograde planets are just really internalized and that often makes them independent from and maybe even slightly detached from outer circumstances. So, the skills and strengths of it are developed on the inside and can be expressed no matter what the rest of the world is doing.

  37. Hi Wayman,

Thanks for replying to my minor aspects question. I also wish minor aspects were a little more clear too, especially the "cosmic" ones like the bi-quintiles, quintiles, and septiles. I feel as if they could be very important to those with these in their charts but I suppose its nature is supposed to be more spiritual and, therefore, mysterious and hard to pin down.

I'm looking forward to your article on minor aspects (and your future articles too!). And thanks for doing this - you've helped a lot of people with this open questions session and we appreciate it. :)

    1. I think that would make you highly defensive and prone to overprotecting yourself, always feeling like people are out to get you, in ways that make you lash out. You might see bad intentions where they weren't intended way too often. So, that's the feeling you need to heal.

  39. 1. When you have 3 planets in 7th house (Mercury, Venus,Saturn in Pisces) how can you tell which planet is dominate

    2. Also do the planets with the smallest orbs have the most effect on your personality

    3. I was born on a Aquarius/Pisces cusp an I have 3 personal planets in Pisces does that make me more Pisces then Aquarius

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The only time one might dominate is if it's conjunct the Descendant and the others aren't. Otherwise, they all get an equal say.

The tighter the orb, the more you feel it. Exact aspects (zero degree orbs) are very dominant because of that.

You're just an Aquarius with strong Pisces traits. :) It makes you a contradiction sometimes. Maybe less rational or detached than the typical Aquarius.
